Modifying and expanding a 75-year-old brand has to be undertaken with great care and deliberation. There were critical balances that had to be struck: the existing identity with new and improved elements; the catholic institutional mission with a broader appeal of state-of-the-art academics and technology. The script logo and crest/shield are significantly modified from the original. The athletic logos are newly created.
